As all Maison de maitre house go, it has a middel hallway with the reception rooms to its sides. On the ground floor Kitchen and dining room to one side, with access to the courtyard. The floors on this level are either beautiful cement coloured tiles or red clay tiles (tommettes)

Heating is with radiators in all rooms, heat is delivered via oil fired boiler in the Barn. Most rooms have working fire places. The village has mains gas, and the house is on mains drainage. Roof tiles need to be inspected as a lot of moss on them.

The garden is deep, with mature trees, and fruit trees. At the end of the garden, views of the vineyards on the south facing hills.

The house is on the main road entering Couches, but as all activity happens around the courtyard, once the gates are closed, the road is not a major factor.
