Until about 15 years ago, a place was offered to a few caravans and tents, and the site was used as a mini-camp. The current football field was used as a tennis court, the lake was heavily used and the guests weren't too fussy about the toilet facilities. To breath back life into this campsite, work has to be done. The shower building must meet the new sanitary requirements, the lake needs to be dredged and the place needs clipping and trimmed before the site can be fully used.
There are two wooden chalets. The largest has a living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms and a simple small bathroom. From a distance it looks like a very impressive wooden building, but because of the shallow depth of only 4 meters and the unused upper floor the living space is limited to about 50 m2. The chalet has a large covered L-shaped terrace, which greatly increases the living space.
The other chalet also has a large covered terrace. The ground floor has a living room with kitchenette. Half the floor comprises of a hallway with two sleeping spaces and one spacious bedroom. The chalet does have a water connection but no bathroom.
In addition, there are several smaller buildings. At the beginning of the site is a stone building of about 12 m2 that used to serve as an ice cream bar, and now as storage. A little further is a large tiled wooden roof and a terrace that now is used as a caravan is shelter. This roof could be easily transformed into a third chalet. Opposite the shower building is a wooden shed and a little further is a second (steel) shed.
All in all an area with many opportunitiesbecause of the various buildings, the lake and its location. If you have always dreamed of owning your own campsite, then you could run this place as a hobby. There is a license for 6 places. Also as a holiday spot for families or friends, this place is ideal. Make your dream of your campsite in France come true!
