The furthermost department of Burgundy, with Chalon sur Saone as its main city, and Macon as its capital. Loved because of its Rivers and canals and the many cycle routes along them. A wide variety of landscpapes: The fertile Bresse plain to the east, the wine hills in the middle, and rolling country side with charollais cows to the west.
The living room is large at 34m2. The floor is tiled, and offers views to the south facing courtyard garden and to the back the valley with a stream further down.
The living room has new electric heaters, but the owners use mainly the GODIN wood burner. In a corner the toilet with the 200 liter electric water heater. The kitchen is simple but complete with a gas cooker, and electric oven.
Upstairs the two bedrooms are under the eaves, with roof windows. One bedroom has 10m2 floor space, the other is larger at 17,50m2 floor space. The shower room is modern and fitted with a wash basin and a shower cabin.
All windows are double glassed and have shutters, even the roof windows have blinds and shutters.
In the basement is a large studio of 34m2, with a shower room and toilet. This is an ideal space for guests or to rent out, as it has its own independent access to the lower street. This space is not as up to date as the upstairs.
The roof and rendering are in very good condition. The main road passes in front of the house, but as the courtyard is lower, one does not see the road.
