Marseille international airport is an hour's drive away. It is not completely clear when the first stone of this domain was placed but it is sure that the building has a rich history. History is visible in many details such as in the vaulted rooms on the ground floor. On the 2nd, last floor, used to be a former “magnagnerie” (silk worm farm ) characterized by the corner chimney. Through the centuries several expansions and modifications were carried out. The property offers a total constructed area of about 350 m² including the habitable space of approx. 145 m². The difference between these surfaces is explained by the existence of attics (with windows and ceilings up to 6 meters!), terraces and storage rooms. The house could be lived in straight away but does not match the nowadays standards. The property seems to be fine structurally but the roofs will need some attention.
