The old Doctor’s house has 2 separate entrances, 1 for the gÎte and 1 for the family home with 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Situated in Epinac, the property has 2000 m2 garden with numerous courtyards and a separate building that could be converted into another gîte or used for a business.
When you enter the front door of this manor house you walk straight into this majestic hallway, and have access to the long living/dining with very high ceiling and tall double-glazed window with ornamental woodwork. This 30 m2 room has a pellet fired stove, oak wood floors, hidden radiators and is facing north east with many windows, thus has beautiful sunlight in the morning. In the middle, a door brings you to a long kitchen of 16 m2 that offers enough space for a table of 10.
The kitchen has a tiled floor, French beamed ceiling with a deep red flowery wall paper between the beams. The same specially made double glazed windows are facing south west, the hidden radiators and the extractor hood give a very country warm feeling to this living space.
A door leads to a small veranda from which you have access to a WC and to the garden, and another door behind the stairs lead to the main entrance.
From the kitchen, stairs lead to the upper floors.
On the first floor a long corridor with oak parquet separate all the rooms. There is a master bedroom with direct access to a huge bathroom, also used as a laundry room with washer and dryer and 4 double bedrooms each with their own shower and WC bathroom which are rented out as B&B. An extra room with no window is used for stocking all the linen necessary for the guests.
On the second floor, a private cosy bathroom, a large double bedroom and a very big bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds are separated by a big hall way. In each bedroom, you have fitted cupboards. From the hall way and the end bedroom, doors lead into an attic space that covers the length of the house for storage.
The building, behind the main house, includes an entrance hall, a meat processing kitchen, a storage room, a very big garage and an attic. Not insulated nor heated but with electricity, cold and hot water as well as drainage. This could be converted into another gite, or used for a business as it has its own access by the back road with lots parking space.
