Small house in the town center

The house is all in the length between the street and a small alley. The main entrance is from the alley. Entering via a nice red door onto the landing of the stone stairs leadin down to the cellar. In front, an oak staircase takes you to the above floors with the living room and the kitchen either side.

The living room is partly covered with old flagstones and partly with parquet flooring , above a step. Many windows are double glassed on the north and west facades, as well as a glassed door which brings a lot of light. The walls are bare showing the stones.

The kitchen needs work, one part is used for the fuel heating boiler and a "room" hosts the fuel tank. The kitchen corner and the dining corner are functional and bright. A door leads to the exit in the alley.

A separate WC is situated in this part.

On the above floor, a landing with old tomettes and a single glassed window. To the right, a large barthroom with double glassing, and in front 2 bedrooms. They are next to each other, but the corridor could be included in the bedrooms. The floors are made of parquet, and the window are double glassed. In one of the bedrooms, a fireplace and a large cupboard/dressing (not closed up).

The lounge situated to the lefr of the landing is comfortable and has a nice parquet, French style ceiling with exposed beams and stone fireplace. The west window is single glassed. The lounge open onto a bedroom with double glassed window et painted bricks flooring.

From the landing a wooden staircase leads to the attic. A large area with a nice beam structure and currently covered with 10 cm of loose insulation.

The cellar is closed by an oak door half way down the stone stairs. The nice vaulted ceiling is quite hight, which allows to keep some wine and welcome people down for tastings.

Outside, following the alley, at the end we find the garden with an awning.

This small house need some renovations but can be lived as it is while the works are being done.
