In the north of the Limousin at about 1,600 m2, a true paradise has been created, with a house, a gîte, a barn, a swimming pool, an atelier, a covered terrace and a well-groomed garden with little stone paths. An other plot of approximately 1,400 m2 is used as a vegetable garden with a greenhouse.
The main house was transformed from barn to house in the late 1980s. Especially in the living room, the old "stable elements" such as the wood separations for the cows are still visible. Due to the height and the stone walls it is very charming.
The semi-open partition creates a typical French dining area and living area. The living has a built-in fireplace. On the ground floor you will also find the kitchen. The wooden beams and the wooden doors also provide an authentic atmosphere. You can enter the porch from the kitchen. There is an open and a closed part of the porch. Also the bathroom is on the ground floor. It has a shower and washbasin. On the floor there is an mezzanine and two bedrooms.
The gîte used to be the main house. After a fire in the late 1990's, this house was fully renovated in 2002. The gîte is now rented for about 4 months a year. On the ground floor is the kitchen. The cozy living room with its blue beams, stone walls and built-in fireplace is connected to a bedroom and bathroom. This bathroom has a shower and sink. On the floor is a spacious corridor and two bedrooms, one of which is very popular with children through its low access door.
Next to the gîte is the barn. From the street, this is accessible by car. The barn is adjacent to the neighbors barn. In the carefully landscaped garden is a swimming pool of about 10 by 5 meters. A terrace with beautiful walls and a gate ensure the separation. Through the stone paths and the various buildings there is a holiday atmosphere on this easy-to-maintain site.
All in all, a well-kept property with special features such as a heat boiler on solar panels that provides warm water in the radiators and the residual heat is used to heat the pool. A heat pump provides heating in the gîte. And the plants in the vegetable garden get water from the own well.
