This farm has a long history: it is said to have been built on the foundations of an old castle, with some stones in the basement being "reused". The entrance divides the house into two parts. The living space on the left is a high space (2.60 meters) with thick beams (insulated). The space has partially joined walls and a characteristic large fireplace that includes a wood burning stove. The double glazed window has been renewed. The right-hand side has a storage room with the gas stove and behind it a cupboard room. Both spaces are approximately 113 ft² (10 m²).

The partition between the two is a supporting wall, but this can be ajusted to create kitchen/dining. Behind the staircase is a (temporarery) sink and connections for the washing machine and dryer. A floor higher is a big landing. Two bedrooms have been created on the left. On the right-hand side is a study that has not yet been finished, but has a new ceiling. The fourth room is a modern and lightly designed bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and toilet. It is possible to add an extra mezzanine. The wood is already ‘on site’. You look at the bottom of the roof, in which a number of skylights are fitted. The roof has recently been renewed, equipped with a Delta cloth, but the insulation on the inside is still missing. This also applies to the exterior finishes of the bedrooms. A second acoustic insulation layer is provided here. Under the house is a basement. Here you will still find remnants of history: the special shape of the door would still be from the original castle. There is a small second house, needing a complete renovation, attached to the main house. There is a nice fireplace on the ground floor. You can add this part to the house or use it as a studio or gite. The roof, including purlins, must be replaced, as for the floor. Adjacent to the old ouse are barns, partly with storey floors. At the end a hangar has been added. Here is also the water basin of the source that flows throughout the year. Diagonally opposite the house is a barn (appr. 818 ft²). The roof and part of the truss construction must be renewed. On the east side of the plot is a bread oven house (161 ft²) with a workshop built against it. The roofs of these outbuildings must be replaced in the short term to prevent them from decaying. Opposite the house, surrounded by a stone (castle) wall, the garden terrace! The water from a(nother) higher source also flows here. The site is located around the house and covers a little more than 14,2 acres (5.7 hectares), adjacent to the house and on a slope. A second source is located in the middle of the site. So your animals drink spring water all year round! Part of the meadows is suitable as grassland and yields around 40-50 hay bales annually. The hamlet consists of only three houses. This property has its own access and no passage! The other two houses are not visible from the house. The house is habitable in its current state, but some things still have to be finished. The advantage is that the layout and finish will be entirely at your own discretion. Just roll up your sleeves so that you can turn this beautiful place into your home in France!
