The village is in a quiet backwater between the Saone and Seille rivers which form the border of the 2 regions. Lively enough to have a combined bakery, grocery shop and café opposite the church square, while a variety of shops and good restaurants can be found at 10 minutes’ drive in either Pont de Vaux or Tournus. This lesser known area of the Bresse is a paradise for nature lovers with walking and cycle paths along the riverbanks, through the mysterious forests and along quiet country lanes.
