Unique medieval house with terrace and garage, located in the historic village of intramural Boussagues. On one side, the house is part of the twelfth century ramparts and on the other it adjoins the "Maison du Bailli" a splendid Renaissance mansion that once belonged to the painter Toulouse-Lautrec. Boussagues is part of the municipality of La Tour sur Orb, located at 2 kilometers, with its different amenities such as a school and a supermarket. At 7 kilometers away , lies Bédarieux, a typical Mediterranean city with a rich history and also a wide variety of amenities including shops, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and cafes, as well as schools and medical facilities. Bédarieux has a very good accessibility by car, train or bus, but also by bike threw the "Voie Verte", a 70 km bike track on a former railway. Local regional info

In the Languedoc, as with the Roussillon, the geography across the region varies greatly. As does the climate, and anyone looking for property needs to take this into consideration. Are you looking for the hot, buzzy Mediterranean known as Bas-Languedoc, or the peaceful mountain regions of Haut Languedoc with the second largest National Park in France, the Cévennes, which are sparsely populated and heavily wooded with colder winters? Less expensive than neighbouring Provence, this area is becoming increasingly popular with property purchasers.
