The furthermost department of Burgundy, with Chalon sur Saone as its main city, and Macon as its capital. Loved because of its Rivers and canals and the many cycle routes along them. A wide variety of landscpapes: The fertile Bresse plain to the east, the wine hills in the middle, and rolling country side with charollais cows to the west.
The house is built all on one level with basement underneath throughout.
Entrance is into hallway, with guest toilet to the side. The main living room is to the right. Here the main feature is the panoramic window dominating the garden and the view further away. Heating is with electric under floor heating and for cosyness an efficient log burner.
Around the corner is the kitchen area, sold furnished and equipped. From here two french windows lead to the terrace.
The terrace looks west, i.e.great when you drink the aperitif whilst enjoying the sunset. The terrace has a large awning to keep out the hot summer sun.
The three bedrooms are arranged around a hallway, off the hallway is also the large bathroom with shower and bath. All bedrooms have doors giving access to the garden. The master bedroom has a private shower, toilet and washbasin area.
All floors are tiled. All windows have wooden shutters, except for the panoramic windows. This window has reinforced glass for extra protection.
The basement is accessed via a stairway in the hallway or the drive away outside ( garage door). Here a laundry area, a work shop area, the garage area, and wine cellar.
The owners are selling as it is now time to move on after 16 years of ownership and gladly pass on the pleasure to a younger generation.
