The building is situated on a hill, dominating the rolling country side around it. Estate consists of 1,8 hectares / 4,2 acres. The 19th century country estate building is in original quality. The ornaments inside out, give it the aspect of a castle.

Once you enter through the gates you access a courtyard with around it the detached main house, then the coach house, the barns, horse stables and cow stables. To one side the large caretakers / workmen building to be completely redone. In between the main house and stables is a large basin, today for the frogs in the past used as swimming pool. On the wooded estate also a pond.

The main house is in reasonable quality. There is a large crack between the tower and the main block, this has been so for years on end. We believe this crack is there as only part of the mansion is on cellars.

The roof of the main house was renewed in the 80's. but contains asbest. It is in god condition, so does not need to be replaced. French law does not oblige yet to free private homes of asbest.

The main living rom and dining room will show off the old character after some clearing up.

There are 6 bedrooms, two kitchen (only one operational), three bathrooms and 5 toilets.

Electricity and drainage system need to be replaced. There is an oil burning boiler delivering heat to radiators.The attic can be converted to habitable area. Large cellar.

The property is located to the west side of the Morvan regional natural park; not far from the canal du Nivernais. Cercy-la-tour is at 8km and has basic shops. Several restaurants in the area.

Once done up a great place to receive family or paying guests in grandeur.
